Cougar Town … Literally! | Coastal Walker
https://coastalwalker.wordpress.com/2013/06/10/cougar-town-literally
Adventures on a tiny island. Cougar Town … Literally! Sniffed around and stole our door mat (yes, this actually happened! We were all on alert for the rest of the day, but things have calmed down now. Some conservation officers came by in the afternoon to try and track it down, but didn’t have success. The one of us who saw it on station did manage to get a picture and pointed out how compromised it was. It was super skinny and had a sore on its tail. Poor thing, nothing to eat. June 10, 2013.

A True West Coast Experience | Coastal Walker
https://coastalwalker.wordpress.com/2013/06/05/a-true-west-coast-experience
Adventures on a tiny island. A True West Coast Experience. Over the past two days I have lived a classically west coast life. Yesterday I was babysitting the Shenty for the day after having stayed the night in the little float home. Around 11:00 am, me and the one other person there spotted whales. About 4 transient orcas to be exact. I was ecstatic! I am expanding my salmon ID-ing capability from fry to juveniles now as well. Ah gotta love the North Island! This entry was posted in Archived. June 5, 2013.

A hometown Tourists Blog. January 3, 2015. In Hikes, Bikes, Wildlife. New years has arrived! Mid way through the school year, 10 days after the shortest day of the year at the point of the season when our reliance on comfort food is the only thing that can get us through another cold, wet day. https://robinswanderings.wordpress.com/2014/12/09/roedde-house-museum
A hometown Tourists Blog. December 9, 2014. Along with my return from Europe land I brought back an interest in our local history-local being Vancouver, B.C, Canada, the place most of this blog happens to take place. Built in 1893, the second house built in the West End. Was a fairly modest house by todays standards. Just two levels, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom-no running water though! A hometown Tourists Blog. Downtown art and alleyways. January 6, 2015. Recent intel and a few wanderings downtown brought the alley off of Cambie St, Downtown. Street Art Hunt | Robin's Wanderings
https://robinswanderings.wordpress.com/2014/12/16/street-art-hunt
A hometown Tourists Blog. December 16, 2014. Does spray paint on the side of a building look ugly and need to be painted over, the perpatrators fined and sentenced to scrub the stuff off with their own salty tears and favourite T-shirts? Guys, it’s just paint. And it’s art. There’s horrible art, astounding creations and a lot that I just don’t get. The cool thing about graffiti is sometimes the style can give you a sense of the city and area you find it. You’ve been warned. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Coastal Walking
New on our website : Tenerife! Coastal Walking is a travel blog, a collection of travel experiences that I want to share in this way. Most of the destinations have two characteristics in common :. A location in or close to natural parks that invites for a walk : on foot, by bike or by car, short or long, in a natural environment or in towns and cities. A location close to the coast : a combination of sea, sun and montains as a special colourful mix. What is the difference with other travel blogs! If you ...
