Your Home Away From Home in Darien and McIntosh County. Jekyll Island Beaches and Barbeque. August 15, 2012. Some recent guests stopped there for lunch on their way our to Jekyll, and then picked up dinner to go on their way back from Darien! A Good Day Fishing! August 12, 2012. They say a bad day fishing still beats a good day of work, so I figure that means a good day fishing beats just about anything! We spent six hours on the boat and no one wanted to come in at the end of the day! August 9, 2012.

Yes, it’s a little windy and cool these days, but the sky is a crystal blue and the air is fresh and clean! Throw on a fleece and walk the beach or hit the water with a local charter fishing captain.
