Coats for Kids was started by the Kalispell Jaycees 26 years ago to help underpriviledged children receive new warm winter clothing. The first year they helped 17 families and through growth and continued commitment to this community, we have served over 2900 families throughout the entire Flathead Valley. We are a continuation of the Kalispell Jaycees project that was started in 1985 which was a big success in that they were able to provide new winter clothing to 17 families that were in need of warm winterwear. Since then the local Jaycee chapter has folded and some of the members wanted to continue the project because of how well the community has responded to the project.

The first annual "Great Pumpkin Carnival" is presented by The Family Friendly Flathead and is considered the ONLY pumpkin carnival in the Flathead! The Coats for Kids will be hosting a pumpkin baking contest where the first three top places win a prize. So bring your baked goods (with pumpkin in them) and let's have ourselves a great time at the "Great Pumpkin Carnival.". S event facebook page.

West 49 Coats for Kids: Since 2002. Bring in a gently used, insulated, clean winter jacket and receive. Bring in a coat. We're asking the community to bring in their gently used, insulated, clean winter jackets to be a part of our goal to keep every kid warm this winter. As a thank you, participants receive $25 off any Mens’, Ladies’ or Youth winter jacket to be redeemed in store. West 49 has collected over 88,000. For families in need across Canada. Coats For Kindness Charity
Providing warmth with love! Welcome to Coats for Kindness, Inc. We provide new, unused winter coats to school-aged children in communities across South Carolina. We have been serving those in need since 2006, beginning with new coats for homeless adults and family members. More recently, our focus has shifted to school-aged children.
