Cobaltika is the online studio of bobbi studstill, mixed media artist and naive photographer, formerly residing in lawrence kansas usa, but now transitioning in central texas. cobaltika has been online for almost ten years, in various stages. despite spending my day hours in a university office, i worked prolifically. in the past years image-making has overtaken manual reconstructions, but my hands are never still. It is difficult for me to call myself a photographer : instead i capture images . i prefer the Spanish term imágenes as it incorporates both concepts of image and imagination. i often reconstruct or glamorize wildly in Photoshop, without apology. Most images are presented in series and are arranged into galleries for best viewing. Everywhere i can go. Toycam, vintage, cheapcam &etc.
