Friday, 20 March 2015. On our way home. Tired but happy ��. Final adventure- fossil hunting. We went in search of seasauruses (sea vertebrates). After 199 steps down we had focused our resolve. In the end we found half an ammonite! So we had celebratory sandwiches before heading back up the steps. Sketches are coming on nicely. These lovely works of art will be framed when finished as part of our Cober HIll assembly. The hunt is on. They have ten minutes to find all the clues. The hunt is on.

Friday, 18 March 2016. The quietest bus of the week. With the calmest, quietest bus of the week, we wend our way back to Harewood. Happy but tired from our adventures! Don't be fooled, it's still noisy! Whitby abbey visitors centre. For such a tiny museum there was a lot of fan things to see- we were also thrilled that it was inside as the rain had just made an appearence. Scavenger hunt at Whitby Abbey. And on the opposing side. Both teams were wreathed in glory and happy biscuit munching voices abounded.

Cober Hill Trip 2010
Cober Hill Trip 2010. Friday, 19 March 2010. Today (Friday) we went to Scaraborough Castle. We learnt how good the defences would have been. We visited all the parts of the castle including the Keep and we learnt all about its history. We tried to attack the castle, but were all slaughtered before we got to the Keep! Friday, 18 March 2011. We had a great morning at Scarborough Castle. Having battled our way through the defenses, with many of our number slaughtered along the way, we launched a final charge. Unfortunately we were then cut down by the defensive cannons at the top off the narrow approach. Hey ho.we tried. We ate our sandwiches, and then even had time for a roll as well! Cober Hill Trip 2012. Friday, 23 March 2012. We spent time in the Whitby Abbey interactive learning area. And then investigated the Abbey itself.
