Saturday, July 14, 2012. The Happiest Guy on Route 95. I knew I had a lot to do to get ready for the body, but boy did I underestimate it. The first thing I realized was that for every hour I spent working on the car, I only got 20 minutes closer to being done. And the second thing I realized was that a couple months ago when I would tell people I was 80% done, I was closer to 40% complete. Finished the wiring throughout the front of the car. Made a pair of butterfly valves for the fresh air system.

Have you ever gone hiking in the mountains and after many hours you start to get tired, but keep going because you're convinced your destination is just around the next bend in the trail? I'm like that, but often find that the trail just keeps going and going. It's disappointing to find you're not there yet, but it always feels good when you finally do make it to your goal. Well, let's just say I went around another bend in the trail. If so, what color?

I actually think I have a lot to update so here goes in no particular order. Last time I mentioned the punch list. Here it is again with a status update:. Mount fuel pump (done). Run fuel lines (half done). Install master cylinder (done). Run brake lines (not done). Mount radiator (not done). Install parking brake (done). Design and build hydraulic clutch (half done).
