http://thegallaghergroup5.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Our weekend was so full of fun! It was Brian's birthday so we got to have a little party for him at na na and pa pa Gallaghers. He got a new BBQ! Yeah now we don't have to use our tiny one with 3 legs ha ha. We also took the kids to this cute little farm, it has goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, quail, turtles, a horse and thank goodness a cat for Dutch to love on. Dutch wants a kitty so badly but its not in her near future, sorry bugga! This is how Rowan spent the day at the farm.

Life on the Island. Tuesday, August 12, 2014. You know how sometimes the goin' gets tough? Well, that pretty much describes my week, or last few weeks, I suppose. THEN, while I was feeling sorry for myself, I started searching for other opportunities to audition for. I found one in Orlando, got my head shots together with my resume and hopped in the car to drive to the location. Thanks to Josh for taking my head shots hours before my audition! I look nothing like this :-). Thanks to my loving husband I'v...

Gallaghers: King Cowboy
http://thegallaghergroup5.blogspot.com/2010/10/king-cowboy.html
Thursday, October 14, 2010. This past weekend the girls and I went up to Pangwich to watch my grandpa King (papa Sonny) get a award. In Garfield County they choose someone who has been farming for most their life. The person they choose had to meet all the standards to become "King Cowboy" Of course my grandpa King won! I love it that my girls are so close with my grandpa. They absolutely love to go to his house and visit him. The girls say every time we leave, "we are cowgirls! Here is the man of the ho...

Monday, May 26, 2014. Here's my basic "go-to" honey muffin. So simple, but they can easily be jazzed up by adding lemon or orange zest to the batter, and sometimes I'll add a little cinnamon or chopped nuts to the top before baking. They are best served warm with preserves or honey, of course! Prep Time: 10 Minutes Cook Time: 15-18 Minutes Makes: 9-12 Muffins. 3 teaspoons baking powder. 1/4 cup margarine, melted. Prairie Story: Garden Harvest
http://www.prairiestory.com/2013/09/garden-harvest.html
Sunday, September 22, 2013. Well this is pretty much how my kitchen has looked for last several weeks. Vegetables from our garden, as well from Mr. Piper's garden down the road. As much as I LOVE all the garden goodies, I completely enjoy turning and processing into food for my family for the months to come! My freezer is full of soup, and almost all my canning jars are full! Zucchini Chocolate Chip Cake. And from my apples this year:. Slow Cooker Apple Sauce. Old Fashioned Apple Cider. If so, HOLY HUGE!

http://www.prairiestory.com/2010/05/zucchini-pan-bread.html
Sunday, May 23, 2010. This savory pan bread is great for brunches or can be cut into smaller bite size squares and served as an appetizer with balsamic vinegar and olive oil for dipping. 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 cup chopped, sauteed onion. 3 cups zucchini grated. Place in 9x9 greased pan. Bake @ 350° for 35-45 minutes. Completely cool to set. It will have a quiche-like consistency. Tip: Give the shredded zucchini a little squeeze before adding to remove excess liquid.
