and sew on.....: Last Week's Auction
http://jmquilts.blogspot.com/2008/10/last-weeks-auction.html
Friday, October 3, 2008. Last week my MIL (auction-attender-extraordinaire! Called to say her planned destination for Friday included a listing for 150 quilt books! She called to ask what she should look for! It wasn't like she wanted my Library Thing list to see what I didn't have. I said I'd see about rearranging JP's morning schedule and coming to join her. One box had a few Carol Doak books and CD for paper piecing. but I already had those. But I eyed 2 other boxes I would like. When I got home, Phil...

and sew on.....: Harvest Report
http://jmquilts.blogspot.com/2008/10/harvest-report.html
Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Phil started to combine soybeans on October 1st, a late start this year. At this point, he is about 3/4 of the way finished with his beans. Yields are on the low side - mid 40's - 50 bu an acre and then he hit a field that was even less. Ugh! 160;He attributes some late season disease to the low yields and the very wet spring to the field that was even worse. . And pig work to catch up on. . He is hoping to tackle the county plot by Friday. View my complete profile.

http://jmquilts.blogspot.com/2008/10/finished-project.html
Thursday, October 16, 2008. My small redo/replace in the kitchen became a much bigger elephant as days passed! I'll show the before, middle, and after. Not shown is the emptying and rearranging of cupboards, stripping wallpaper border, and repainting the kitchen. *sigh*. We lived with a hot plate, microwave, and crock pot for 8 days. And do you know how long it takes a SAHM to save for that kind of purchase? I can't wait to see it in person! October 17, 2008 at 12:19 AM. Looks great, Joyce, enjoy.

Our Journey Continues: June 2009
http://littleladybugreports.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 25, 2009. Kamryn's 1st dance recital. Back at the beginning of the year, I enrolled Kamryn in a Chinese dance class. Many of her friends were already taking it and since she turned four, she was able to participate as well. She really enjoyed the class, and I enjoyed talking to my friends while she was in the class! She was very graceful and beautiful, if I don't say so myself;). And thanks to Emily's mommy too for taking pictures of Kamryn for me since my camera (or battery) was acting up!

Our Journey Continues: Boys Adventure Day
http://littleladybugreports.blogspot.com/2009/07/islands-of-adventure.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2009. The boys are more into roller coasters now so we spent a day at Universal'$ I$land$ of Adventure. We all really enjoyed that park! There is a Dr. Suess section for the little ones and big roller coasters like the Hulk for the bigger ones. Kamryn also loves Spiderman. Probably because she has seen the Spiderman movies with her brothers. So she loved seeing him IRL. I absolutely LOVED the 3-D Spiderman ride. So very cool. Love ya, Mom. http://littleladybugreports.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 26, 2008. Yes, Kamryn happened to be in two school performances this year. Kamryn and I went to Gavin's school performance. That particular evening, Kamryn wanted to dress up in her Chinese outfit. So I let her and she looked beautiful! Little did we know that she would end up in Gavin's performance! The teachers were great and actually gave her a set of antlers to wear too. So fun! She's been singing all month, "bells are ringing, bells are ringing, baby Jesus born today." She'd sin...

http://jmquilts.blogspot.com/2008/10/soybean-plot-and-work-accomplished.html
Monday, October 13, 2008. Soybean Plot and Work Accomplished. Phil and his gang combined the soybean plot on Friday. I love the different colors each variety has once they mature. I always bake treats for them but was in quandary without an oven. I ended up making cinnamon rolls and baking them at Elinor's. By Saturday all our soybeans were finished! Molly just wanted to say Hi! The corn reel to help with the downed corn isn't working right so they aren't using it yet. This is a weird fall! May 29, 1983.
