Friday, 20 March 2015. It occurred to me earlier today, while watching some old Mariah Carey videos, that back in the early 90s she made some fantastic pop records - Dreamlover. To name but two. It took a while, but after some well-publicised, questionable output, she returned to form with 2005's The Emancipation of Mimi. And faith in her legacy was restored. Now I first heard Clare Maguire.
