Adventures of an Innkeeper. Life in a Beach Town. More specifically Shiitake mushrooms were my choice for dinner last week. It all started with the mushrooms that I got with my CSA last week. I went to Crescent Bakery and got a nice multigrain bread. Long story short:. I diced some bacon from the Honor Family Market, real bacon that has been smoked, not doused in liquid smoke! Serve with a nice fresh, green salad and some cold, sparkling water with a squeeze of lemon or a nice cold beer. May 5, 2009.

Ted Bahry, a longtime friend, came to visit in his Jeep, and two little boys got the ride of their lives. Ted is a retired Marine who had extensive work done on this 1954 vehicle and it shows. Such a pretty car. That’s all. August 8, 2016. Fox the Story Teller. Fox and his grandparents stayed with us when he was 5 years old. Adventures of an Innkeeper. Life in a Beach Town. May 16, 2015. A sunset and then some. Some very nice guests of ours have shared their pictures from an outing in Frankfort. It was a rainy kind of a day, yesterday, and no one could have guessed that, through the evening fog, such a beautiful picture would be possible. If you click on the pictures, they will magically expand😉. Les White, the photographer, and his other half, Lori, also found their first morel mushrooms, AND, they had them for breakfast.
