Monday, July 19, 2010. Today was a long day. At 8:00 this morning we headed down to the school. The first stop was the health center for a TB test. Then we went to the Aloha Center for the One Stop Student Services. It was pretty much a room full of tables that you needed to visit to get your check-in sheet full of signatures. Then I must be TB free! It felt like forever, but I think it was only an hour. Anyhoo, after One Stop and my attempt to apply at the PCC, we went down to the dorms to check-in.

Friday, July 23, 2010. Who doesn't love the first day of school? Especially when you get to wake up at 6:45 in the morning. After shower, clothes, teeth, the ten minute walk to breakfast, and eating breakfast, I had just enough time to get to my first class. Fitness for Living. I like Coach Akina. He seems like good peoples. Later on I had lunch then went to Book of Mormon I. Maybe, maybe not. Later on, Jordan, Henry, and I went down to Foodland. We found a shopping cart on the way. They sell magic there.

I forget what exactly I did but that morning I went to interview for a Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) job in food and beverage. The handouts say "The fastest way to get hired at PCC! It really was. Auntie Lani was writing on my application the name of the student I would be replacing during the two minute interview. I'll be working the luaus. One of the concession positions at PCC.
