Welcome to my ramblings. Monday, April 25, 2011. ASPnet Tab Missing in IIS 6 on 64-bit Windows. We are switching our main website over to Sitecore CMS 6.4 which uses asp.net 4.0. Problem is that our development server is Windows 2003 x64, and is setup to use IIS in 32-bit mode. Apparently there is a bug (MS will call it a feature) which hides the ASP.NET tab in IIS when you have this particular configuration. Run aspnet regiis -lk. Run aspnet regiis -s PATH. Eg aspnet regiis -s W3SVC/123456789/root/.

Welcome to my ramblings. Tuesday, August 15, 2006. So after reading an article titled "How to Become an Early Riser". Since then I have learned by trial and error. This morning for instance my alarm went off at 5:51 AM and I pushed snooze knowing that it is a 9 minute snooze and that I would still get up at 6:00 AM anyway. Wrong! Saturday, October 16, 2010. C# lesson: I didn't know we can do this with "new" keyword! While writing my code testing some design patterns, I accidentally trying to override Object.ToString() method. The VS prompt me a warning. And suggest to use new keyword instead. What? I did not know I could do this in C#:. What is this "new" all about? When used as a modifier, the new.
