Monday, January 26, 2009. Ramblings from a Redheaded Mama. I felt guilty and now am posting nonsense. It's bonus time and we're working on the things we need that we can't afford during the year. Of course, this also includes paying off the surgeon from my gall bladder removal. TD&G and the middle child both need to go to the eye doc. Sunday, December 28, 2008. We are getting ready to head up to Ft Worth this week. We'll only be gone for one night, but we're renting an RV and trying not to spend much money on food while we're there. The University of Houston Cougars are playing the Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl on New Year's Eve. We're going up on Tuesday and will be heading back after the game. Friday, January 8, 2010. Not something I'd normally do. Hubby's cousin's husband just posted on Facebook that the man who killed his sisters is up for parole. You can read about the story here. This is the message Mrs. Purnhagen posted on Facebook:. Rnhagen and Delton and his father murdered them on June 13th on 1990. If you aren't comfortable doing this, I understand. I just am not sure that less than 20 years in prison is enough for killing a 9 year old and being part in killing a 16 year old.

Sunday, May 3, 2009. Cake Pops for Cancer. The Relay for Life that we participated it was a great success. The kids stayed for a little while Friday night and came back early Saturday morning to "support" me as I walked. They played video games sponsored by Best Buy and inflatables that I'm not sure who sponsored. Tall, Dark and Goofy walked with me for 2 miles from 4-4:30. After that, we packed our stuff and headed off for breakfast. She has so many great ideas and these were so easy and fun to make.
