List of reasons to use ICT in teaching. July 27, 2015. July 27, 2015. In my last post I talked about how ICT is all around us in the 21st century, a key element in our daily lives. One of the key features of ICT is that it makes gathering and transmitting information easier. Very different to nowadays where you are able to pick up a phone / tablet / computer, open Google. But how does this translate to the classroom? Teacher can keep track of student’s achievements. Is able to be explored in new fun ways.

I also took the challenge to ‘ Take this Lollipop. 8216; I was quite happy with my results, it was rather funny watching the weird guy look for me on a blank map, as I do not have my current town or country listed on Facebook. I am also very careful with my photos, all but the photos I am tagged in or that I have posted on instagram are in private folders that only I can see. I am also prone to ‘ googling myself. Day three and my first whole class lesson…. October 8, 2015. So prac is well under way and I am having a great time! Like Lorraine I also taught my first whole class lesson today 🙂. I actually taught the whole class for the whole of the first session 🙂 My mentor is awesome and the kids are gorgeous! However, the skills that were practiced within this lesson were evident within the second lesson, which was Geography. October 6, 2015. October 31, 2015. The class is wonderful with only 18 students, though it looks like we are going to have a few very busy weeks. There is a special opening of the primary buildings on Friday, an excursion on Tuesday, and next Friday is the Prep orientation. My mentor teacher will also be away on Friday but she has requested a lovely relief teacher so there will be lots of new and wonderful experiences to be had. CyberSmart through Connect.ed….
