We decorated with ladybugs of course and also flowers. We ended up ordering the cake from Albertson's and it turned out perfect. It was delicious too! Opening presents but Kenzi wasn't real interested. She was just happy climbing on the boxes. In her high chair.ready to eat! Not quite sure what to think. Yummy in my tummy! This party guest is pooped!

Friday, June 27, 2008. Last weekend Kylar went to her friend Maddie's birthday party at Chelsea's Tea Room and had a great time! After getting all dressed up in beautiful dresses, the girls were treated to a little pampering, a lesson on manners, and a tea party of course! Glam girl.Kylar getting her nails and make-up done. Maddie and Kylar picking out the perfect necklace to compliment their dress. Partyshe kept telling me, "But I don't like tea, Mommy." Good thing it was really just pink lemonade!

Thursday, July 24, 2008. This week we went on a mini-vacation and spent two days at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine with the Doziers. It is a family resort with an indoor water park and they also have an outside pool. Kylar and Tyler had a blast together and I think Kenzi and Xander had fun too! Tuesday, December 30, 2008. I can't believe it's already the end of 2008.the year flew by! A new addition to our family, a new job, and many new adventures made for a great year! We spent Thanksgiving with my side of the family. Jason and Jen drove down from Colorado with their kids (Baloo - a Great Dane puppy and their cats - Ernie and Olive). My Grandma, Aunt Denise, Aunt Karen, and cousin Caroline also came down from Oklahoma. It was a lot of fun.especially for Kylar! Baloo at 4 1/2 months and 75 lbs.

I think Mom, Dad, and I were ALL shocked when my dad looked straight at him and said "Say Grandad" and Cooper repeated it so loudly and clearly, it was as if he had been saying it for months! We all just about passed out! Later, Mom walked us to the car and he said Grandmama the same way! Needless to say, I think we are looking at a genius if he can almost double his vocabulary in a just a ten minute window!

Clay will not hold a face long enough for the camera and Coop doesn't want to be the few feet away from me that he needs to be for me to operate the camera! I am learning to be a little less of a control freak about this in addition to learning to appreciate pictures that are not just a straight on view of my boys' beautiful faces!
