Energy | cognitiveshift
https://cognitiveshift.wordpress.com/2014/11/06/energy
You are what you think. I’ve been thinking about the ways we spend our energy and what we choose to build. Most of the time this money is made while producing nothing of tangible value, which is almost like minting your own currency. I’ve been spending too much time and energy wondering what would happen if we stopped wasting our time and energy. What could we do with those hours lost to TV? You are co...

You are what you think. I didn’t know supporting the environment was so optional. Gallup released a report in June about public support for government pollution controls. If we look at google searches based on the themes of the gallup survey, it is clear where out priorities lie. July 2, 2014. What are we looking for? Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Work is a Cliche | autostemic
https://autostemic.wordpress.com/2015/07/23/work-is-a-cliche
Autonomy in the time of Automation. Work is a Cliche. Consider the birds in the trees. The closest thing they do to “work” is scrounge for food and avoid being eaten. The rest of the time they are flying, socializing, and raising their young. What about the lion on the Savanna? They protect their territory and their cubs, they hunt, but does this take up a third of their day? This is an old observation (“the lilies in the field” and all that). But is automation necessary for a post-work world? Automation...
