I had to do some research on how to do this myself, which took a little time, so hopefully I can save some people some time. Follow the below steps on how to install the ADB tool, and flash your Nexus 6 with any image of your choosing. WARNING: THIS METHOD WILL ERASE ALL DATA ON YOUR PHONE* *. 1 Enable Developer Mode on the Nexus 6. If you haven't done this already, go to:.

CONFESSIONS OF A CITRIX ADMIN. View my complete profile. Saturday, August 10, 2013. My First Citrix Provisioning Services Build (Using XenApp 6.5). Been working fairly hard on this on select nights trying to get this prepped and ready for what I would consider "production.". A few things worth mentioning before I get into it:. All machines were built on Microsoft Hyper-V for Windows 8 Professional. All machines are actually virtualized right on my home desktop PC. Both databases (PVS and XenApp) are hous...

CONFESSIONS OF A CITRIX ADMIN. View my complete profile. Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Desktop Virtualization and how it changed my view of IT. Often times when people think of virtualization, I think they think of a degrade in performance, or how it's going to have big setbacks and limitations. Sure, you can reduce the amount of hardware and items that you have to keep track of, but jeez, what if a server fails? DESKTOP VIRTUALIZATION AND DEPLOYMENT. With the new methods, you can more effectively use your serve...

CONFESSIONS OF A CITRIX ADMIN. View my complete profile. Wednesday, September 10, 2014. XenApp and XenDesktop 7.5 - Policy Issue - Can't View Policy In Studio. In every XenApp and XenDesktop 7.5 implementation that I've done so far, including my home test lab, I've run into this issue, and needed to resolve it using a few PowerShell commands. Changes made to policies outside of this console, such as in PowerShell or management tools from previous versions, resulted in a discrepancy between policies.

CONFESSIONS OF A CITRIX ADMIN. View my complete profile. Thursday, May 21, 2015. A Struggle With Wireless - An Open Letter to Wireless Carriers. A little bit of background. I was somewhat unhappy with my job at Iowa Wireless, because I wasn't impressed with how they were handling the transition to newer, faster, more efficient cellular services. It seemed like there was a mindset of "people don't need that kind of data service." - being a power user, this is definitely NOT what I want to see. I got my fi...

CONFESSIONS OF A CITRIX ADMIN. View my complete profile. Monday, May 26, 2014. Deploying Citrix XenApp 7.5. It's about that time again for me to do another Citrix build, and this time around, we're looking at the latest and greatest offering in application delivery, Citrix XenApp 7.5. I think XenDesktop 7.5 and XenApp 7.5 really are the way of the future for Citrix, and I'm actually very happy with the model they've chosen now. The following mainstream operating systems are supported:. 2 I have an existi...

CONFESSIONS OF A CITRIX ADMIN. View my complete profile. Monday, August 25, 2014. Installing ESXi 5.1 Update 2 on an MSI Z97M-G43 Motherboard. As a small home project, I've gotten myself an MSI Z97M-G43 motherboard and an Intel i3-4130 CPU to run ESXi on. Just to run a few VM's and do some tinkering with it. This being 2014, who the heck wants to put an optical drive in their custom build? I decided to use a USB stick for installing ESXi. Http:/ kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do? CONFESSIONS OF A CITRIX ADMIN. View my complete profile. Thursday, November 8, 2012. Google's Nexus program, and wireless in the US. The Nexus 4 seems to be taking a lot of flak as a result of Google and LG not equipping it with an LTE radio. I fully support the idea of not having an LTE radio, for several reasons:. 1 It isn't carrier specific. I can buy my Nexus 4 right from the Google Play Store, it gets shipped to my house, and I pop my SIM card in it. Just like that, I'm off.
