In this work, Zhang uses the combination of digital illustrations and motion graphics referencing pictorial languages, such as icons and signs. The work deploys idioms and social-cultural phenomena that occur in employment, education, and daily life. To close out the end of the 2014/2015 school year, MCAD hosted a summer send-off and concert. MFA student, Preston Drum, was instrumental in organizing the event that included his own band Naptaker.
