Thursday, September 25, 2008. The last two days have turned out to be a write off. I woke up yesterday with a sore throat. I decided to take the day off, pound the Vitamin C and echinicea, and hope to kick the sore throat. Awoke this morning, and it didn't work. First cold of the year. Stuffed up this morning, still got the sore throat, and a mild headache to boot. Taking the cold medication now, in addition to the Vit C and Ech. Posted by Daniel Wells. Friday, November 26, 2010. Triathlon Canada Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence. Later on today I'll be flying out to Quebec City for the weekend to partake in Tri Can's 25th anniversary banquet on Saturday evening. The guest list of who will be in attendance is an all-star cast of triathlon in Canada to say the least:. The Puntous twins (Sylviane and Patricia). And I'm probably missing many more. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Sooke 1/2 Iron Update. I had my final race tune-up before IM Florida this past Sunday. The Sooke 1/2 Ironman was the final race in the West Coast series, and it was a good way to get in another race simulation. I decided to use the day as a good training weekend, not bothering to rest too much going into the race.
