Friday, January 20, 2012. Myakka River State Park, one of the largest and oldest state parks. We went on an "airboat" ride on Myakka lake- a very shallow lake. It wasn't really an airboat but a big pontoon with a big fan that made it go super slow. We saw 2 crocs, the top side of them, lots of different birds and even some wild pigs. Oops picked the wrong pic.I changed batteries in my camera before we left so I had a fresh one, and it died after 10 pictures. Err! Since it was a holiday the park was proba...

Living with Boys: Day 3
http://tanejohnson.blogspot.com/2012/01/day-3.html
Friday, January 20, 2012. In the morning we went to walk out on the fishing pier. The house my parents are staying in is on a canal on the Myakka River. You can see their pier from their house. In the afternoon we went on a wildlife/dolphin cruise. It was cold in the wind, but sitting on the boat we got hot in the sun (and sunburned too i think). Dolphin. I think he said she was attacked by a shark and that's whyher fin looks like this. Posted by Abbie Johnson. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Forced pictures before we allowed presents to be opened. Sophie opening her present. A and N were going through A's baseball card collection. He was nice enough to give some to N. Playing with beads with Aunt A. They saw the kids in the driveway and stopped to talk to them. Putting circuits together with Grandpa.

Saturday, January 7, 2012. L got this cute Melissa and Doug castle from Nanna and Papaw and loves it. But she uses it for her squinkies which she also loves. Not so many legos this year since santa decided we have plenty and brought the DS instead. But we still have a few new ones. These two played together for a long time this morning in the sunny spot. The pinewood derby construction has begun. Another unique car but you'll have to wait til the end of Jan to see what it is. Posted by Abbie Johnson.

Living with Boys: December 2011
http://tanejohnson.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 15, 2011. I found almost a yard of fleece remnant at Jo-An's and grabbed it up since it was less than $2. My first attempt at a hat. She didn't cooperate very well for pictures. It looks much cuter in person. Tooth number 7 gone. Posted by Abbie Johnson. Links to this post. We went bowling with our small group last weekend. It was the first time for both E and L. N had been one other time. Of the 7 kids, E had the high score. I don't remember what it was though! Posted by Abbie Johnson.

http://tanejohnson.blogspot.com/2012/01/gingerbread-houses.html
Saturday, January 7, 2012. I glued the pieces together well in advance rather than use frosting. Much better. We made use of the candy that came with the kit and got rid of the Halloween candy. They spent longer on this than I thought they would. Posted by Abbie Johnson. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Life of Matt and Ari. Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries.
