Musings on digital marketing from the heartland. Stop using “Click Here” in your link text. Just a quick public service announcement reminding my fellow digital marketing and communication professionals: there was a time and place to use “click here” for your link text, and that time has passed. 1 Not everyone is using a device that requires them to click a mouse. 3 Contextual link text makes your web copy easier to read and helps with search engine optimization. Hops off soap box:. Today I was looking a...

Musings on digital marketing from the heartland. Tag Archives: future self. The future is cool, yet blotchy and with a British accent. Have you been to the Orange Future Self micro site. I have and this is what I saw. 20 years in the future, courtesy of Orange. I first stumbled upon it via DigiDay. And while it’s an incredible user experience, I didn’t learn a single thing about Orange, and there was no call to action to interact with the company any farther. Just Updated – Links Page.

A Life Less Ordinary. Sunday, July 31, 2011. So very excited :). Monday, July 25, 2011. This weekend FLEW by! Helped a friend move to a new place, visited the Stokes and helped bury a drain pipe, and saw Captain America (good action flick, but I was disappointed with the ending)! Despite all the activities, I'm looking forward to vacation! In two weeks, I'll be here:. I'm on my way! Monday, July 18, 2011. A Less Than Ordinary Day. Today started off like any other day. Sunday, July 10, 2011. So we got a p...

A Life Less Ordinary. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. As part of our program at Sea Base, we are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to snorkel the 3rd most dived site in the world! On a given day during program, we load up several crews on our big boat and head out about 5 Miles to Looe Key. And let the scouts explore. Sergent Majors and Brain Coral]. Luckily, when I went back a second time, I got to see a SLEW of cool stuff! A Sea Turtle decided to swim by]. A Goliath Grouper that hangs out by our boat].

A Life Less Ordinary. Sunday, November 28, 2010. Happy belated Thanksgiving, everyone! This holiday weekend has flown by and I can hardly believe Christmas is on it's way! Though the next few weeks will be busy with work, Christmas shopping and Christmas festivities, I'm looking forward to enjoying the little things about the holiday season like being able to decorate my apartment (I'll be putting up my Charlie Brown Christmas Tree tonight! I'm so thankful for family! All of them :). I'm in a musical!
A Life Less Ordinary: RMNP
http://kagalicious.blogspot.com/2011/08/rmnp.html
A Life Less Ordinary. Sunday, August 21, 2011. Two weeks ago I was camping under the stars in Rocky Mountain National Park. Our campsite (Yes, that's Long's Peak in the distance). These hikes seemed pretty easy and gave me the confidence to try a harder and higher elevation hike the next day. Nymph Lake - my favorite! Which way should I go? Our stop at the top of the tree line on Milner's Pass. Freshly made ice cream during camping, you ask? What a great end to a camping trip. August 22, 2011 at 8:07 AM.
A Life Less Ordinary: A Less Than Ordinary Day
http://kagalicious.blogspot.com/2011/07/less-than-ordinary-day.html
A Life Less Ordinary. Monday, July 18, 2011. A Less Than Ordinary Day. Today started off like any other day. Work up, got ready for work, got in the car.and then I smelt something ghastly. Like trash, so I cleaned out the old potato chip bags and all the half filled cups of sports drinks and water and hurrily got them out of the car and headed to work. I thought the problem was solved. A Life Less Ordinary: February 2011
http://kagalicious.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
A Life Less Ordinary. Sunday, February 27, 2011. About 2 weeks ago, when the weather was in the 70's, Elphie and I took a nice long walk around the neighborhood and she was in heaven. The weather was warm, there was still snow, and she was able to snow surf! Tuesday, February 22, 2011. I never found the USB cord for my camera and I needed some quicker shopping gratification than what Amazon.com could offer, so I headed on down to Micro Center and got myself a reader for my memory card! For me. In fac...

A Life Less Ordinary. Sunday, May 29, 2011. Hello, Goodbye May! Life has been.busy. To say the least, therefore, I haven't had as much time as I'd like to dedicate to blogging. http://kagalicious.blogspot.com/2011/07/sweet-summertime.html
A Life Less Ordinary. Saturday, July 9, 2011. Yes, it's been a while.but I've been enjoying my summer! Enjoying our new pool (pictures to come later! Generally, the summer has been busy and fun! I spent last weekend in Nashville, tech week for the musical starts tomorrow, and 40-hour work weeks really eat up my time! But once the show is over I'll have more time to enjoy the pool, I'll be getting a much overdue hair cut, and will be going on vacation (AND GETTING PAID FOR IT! Happy summer everyone :).

A lady elk holding up traffic in the park. Get out of the road, lady! Sitting in the grass, checking out rocks and relaxing in Russell, KS. (Can you spot the person with just one leg?
