Monday, June 27, 2016. The garden is a great place for philosophical ponderings! I planted a flower garden in front of our porch this spring. It's the first time in several years that I've been able to plant and I was so excited! Friday, September 23, 2016. Tiptoes on a Ladder in the Wind. There I was, standing on my tiptoes on a yellow ladder, reaching as high as I could, with a paintbrush in my hand and the wind at my side. Don't worry, Mom! It wasn't as dangerous as it sounds. You see, I don't really like heights. I climb ladders gingerly and even hold onto nearby surfaces to make sure I can balance myself. Yeah. I don't NEED to, but it FEELS safer. I didn't want to give up my comfortable stance and climb to a higher plane.
