A Tale of Grace. Learning to live generously. What I’m Working On…. What I mean when I say “Living Generously”. November 4, 2015. If you’ve read my blog you know that this is kind of a life goal of mine: to live generously. And while I often fall-short of that goal, even fail completely, I am always trying to understand better how that can play out in my life. (Thank goodness for new days and new weeks and new months and new chapters too! Book Review: Girl Meets Change. October 9, 2015. They are the perf...

A Tale of Grace. Learning to live generously. What I’m Working On…. What I’m Working On…. I have always loved graphic design and fonts and paper. (If I had come of age a few years later I may have pursued a whole other universe in my education–but in the late 80’s had anyone even heard of graphic design? I am mostly self-taught and have done design as a hobby. So our new working world of print and design is fully speaking my love-language! Update: So I did it. I went back to school! 8 x 10 Printable.

A Tale of Grace. Learning to live generously. What I’m Working On…. Book Review: Wild in the Hollow. September 4, 2015. It’s officially been 597 years since my last post. But today seems like a good day to tell you about a book I read. In the interest of full disclosure I feel like I should tell you that I received my copy free from Revell Publishing with the agreement that I would post a review here. Wild in the Hollow: On Chasing Desire and Finding the Broken Way Home. By Amber C. Haines. If you’...

A Tale of Grace. Learning to live generously. What I’m Working On…. I am, shall we say, an avid reader. I’ve always loved the chance to escape in a “good” book though my choices have not always been what I call good-for-me books. Yes, I have read my share of crime novels, chick-lit, and even, I confess, Twilight. (We get it, she loves him! My favorite books…in no particular order:. A Spot of Bother. Same Kind of Different As Me. Why Is My Mother Getting a Tattoo? By Jancee Dunn…the same friend that...

A Tale of Grace. Learning to live generously. What I’m Working On…. A few years ago I read. Should I be worried? But as I focus on it, I’ve discovered that there are at least enough to get started…. There should always be food. You’ll never go wrong taking the high road. This is one that my sweet friend Mindi told me. I was feeling criticized and defensive for one of the leaders on my team and was wondering how best to manage the situation–should I address it? Should I confront the criticizer? Friends do...
