Sunday, September 12, 2010. The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson. So I could understand some of the events better (especially the guardianship part), but you don't really have to be an expert on Sweden to follow the plot or the mystery. The ending of this book begs for the third one to be read. If I Stay by Gayle Forman.

It follows a 15 year old girl named Devon who denies her pregnancy, gives birth alone on the bathroom floor of her apartment, and then throws the baby into the trash. Pretty harsh premise, right?
