The Balzamo Report: Meet Us
http://www.thebalzamoreport.com/p/meet-us.html
FAST FACTS ABOUT US:. I grew up in New Jersey. My parent are both from the New York metropolitan area. Rosa grew up in Missouri. Rosa's parents left the Amish religion in the 1980's. We have two sons. I was trained, ordained, and sent out of First Baptist Church of Wayland, MO which also functions as our mission board. Dan Deatrick is the pastor. We are Independant Baptist by conviction. We believe in the imminent, pre-tribulational, pre-millenial return of Christ. I was born into a Christian home in Nov...

The Balzamo Report: July 2014
http://www.thebalzamoreport.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
A well known atheist once said of Christians that (I'm paraphrasing here) "If Christians really have eternal salvation and they don't tell people the truth about it, isn't that the most hateful thing they can do? Probably the most poignant thing I've ever heard an atheist say. He was on to something there. Truly, the omission of such important words as mentioned above is very telling. Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Are We Being Irrational? Ok, so the title is meant to draw you in. I admit it! There would be n...
The Balzamo Report: From Our Pastor
http://www.thebalzamoreport.com/p/from-our-pastor.html
A letter from our pastor. First Baptist Church of Wayland. Wayland, MO 63472. July 18, 2012. Dear Independent Baptist Pastor,. Norwich is a city of over 40,000 people in an immediate area that has a population of about 66,000 and with only one small independent Baptist church. Within driving distance, there are approximately 115,000 people served by about 12 independent Baptist churches, but the real need is in the city of Norwich which has a definite potential within its own city limits! So, far we've examined nine common incongruities in church. That is to say, nine things in which we practice one thing in the name of something else, define something poorly to justify error, or mistake one thing for another because of a errant perspective. Here's the list of what we've covered thus far. 1 Man of God vs Godly man:. 2 Best selling Christian author vs best Christian content. 3 Spiritual leader vs Spirit led:. 4 Good numbers vs good fruit:. 5 Animated preaching vs Spirit-filled preaching:.
The Balzamo Report: April 2015
http://www.thebalzamoreport.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Beginning a New Phase of Life. As many of you may have heard, our house in Missouri has been SOLD! Without going into the details of the sale, let me just say that it was definitely the Lord's doing! We were able to close on it on March 15. We had spent many long hours packing up our things. We had a wonderful group of guys help us load the moving truck in Missouri. They had everything loaded in less than 3 hours, with a little room to spare in the truck! Thursday, April 09, 2015. Follow Us On Facebook.
The Balzamo Report: Norwich
http://www.thebalzamoreport.com/p/why-norwich.html
Population: 43,000 (approximate). Land Area: 28.3 square miles. Population Density: 1,413 people per square mile. There are approximately 43,000 people there and NOT one Independant Baptist church in the city. New England contains 25% of America's population yet, there are fewer good churches there per capita there than the rest of the country's regions combined. Norwich is clustered between two of the top ten LEAST religiously affiliated cities in the U.S. - Providence and Hartford. There is both a simp...
The Balzamo Report: Incongruities...Parts 7-9
http://www.thebalzamoreport.com/2014/08/incongruitiesparts-7-9.html
I've been writing lately about incongruous phrases and concepts that we often use- things we call one thing but are actually another because we've misunderstood some things. Sometimes we have ideas or practices that don't quite match honestly with the terms we give them. The set of dots on either side of the red line- congruent or not? Hint: the four outer most dots to the right and left of the image are the giveaway? Would the halves match if you folded the image along the red line? Follow Us On Facebook.
