It’s taken a few weeks but I’ve finally gotten around to posting some reflections on this year’s ISA convention in New Orleans. Why does any of this matter? Robbie Shilliam has eloquently written. We can deconstruct colonial thought with European ideas, but we cannot reconstruct decolonial realities with those same European ideas. For it is surely important to ask, what is ‘Europe’ in this statement?
