Walking you through the ins-and-outs of developing in the Unreal Engine for the Oculus Rift. The process began with the idea. Colony 12 uses a node-based plot system to guide the user through the experience, while noting what the user looks at throughout the experience. We use this information to generate custom sequences influenced by the details that a user notices along their journey. This level of implicit interation adds a new layer to the media form and enriches the experience all while the user remains completely unaware until they decide to experience the world again.
