Sunday, June 22, 2014. I had a really great trip back home to Texas… I ended up swimming 4 days out of the 6 I was there which is much better than I have been doing in previous weeks. I worked up to 45 minutes and plan on moving up to 55 min next week. I was even able to swim a full lap of butterfly which my Dad got on video :) (YES, even big girls can butterfly! We barbecued last night and made bison burgers (totally delicious and very lean) so I did that without the bun and some grilled corn on the cob...

Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Pool, Flu, and OFFICIALLY 50LBS DOWN! Like many other places in the country, it was raining cats and dogs for weeks here in Colorado. This was such a bummer because it was supposed to be the start of summer! But this teacher was amazing, had GREAT music, and I swear I have never had a water aerobics class that kept my heart rate up as much the entire class as this one. This wasn't an issue the past week as I was either in the hospital or at home, but tonight I have to go to class :/ I will be heavily armed with sugar free mints! Today's Weight 174.5. Total Loss: -2.5lbs. I have had a marvelous time shopping in my own closet. Everyday I find clothing that I loved too much to part with, so they were stuffed into drawers or the back of my closet. Trying them on and having them fit? I walk 40-75 minutes everyday followed by 35 minutes of swimming laps.
