Okeetee Tessera x Extreme Okeetee. By a stroke of great fortune I am now the proud owner of a 2010 male Tessera bred by Don Soderberg of South Mountain Reptiles. Thank you Don for this amazing opportunity! Madras, the spectacular Aberrant Abbott Okeetee, is here on loan from Jarrett Kime and Troy Crosby of The Cornnection. We can’t wait to see what Gartersnake and Madras produce! There may be a mating between Gartersnake and Starling- that’s still to be determined. UPDATE! 2010 F Abbott’s Okeetee. I have...

2012 Breeding Season Off To A Great Start! Tuesday, 27 March, 2012 12:37. My most-anticipated breeding of the season has got to be Peppermint Stripe Heart Attack. X Hypo Stripe het Bloodred Nadia. Both of these amazing snakes are on loan from Carol Huddleston. This is Heart Attack’s. The first clutch of eggs has also arrived! Of breeding age, I am hoping to take my Milksnake-Phase Miami project to the next level. Cherry. Has laid a 100% fertile clutch of 18- so I’m off to a great start!

An Avalanche of Fires! Monday, 27 June, 2011 12:34. The babies are here, the babies are here! Clutch hatched this weekend. There is nearly a 50:50 split of Avalanches. With a couple Stripes. Of each. Not a single Bloodred or Granite! Look at the colorful baby pile I woke up to Sunday morning! The first egg was slit Friday morning and when I arrived home Friday afternoon a little pink head was poking out. A few hours later the first hatchling emerged, an Avalanche Stripe. What could be better than that?

Of Low Belly Reptiles. What a privilege it has been to have Hyacinth. Stay here so I could document her growth! Looks so pretty next to her- so alike, but so different. Two interesting yearlings from outside sources are growing up as well! Is the 2011 daughter of Graham Criglow’s. The Red Factor Tessera.

Monday, 04 February, 2013 13:42. Heart Attack, Amel Cinder Stripe. Yes- snakes go out on breeding loans for a variety of reasons- usually so two snakes with desirable genes can meet and make beautiful hatchlings together, despite being owned by different people. There are a number of loaner snakes here at SnickerSnakes, the most famous of them being Heart Attack, the first Peppermint Stripe ever produced. Heart was bred by Carol Huddleston. Is a pretty, sweet-tempered Tessera. Hatched by Dr. Jeff Mohr.
