Raising our kids and living life in the shadow of the Rockies. Doug and Brittany came to visit us this weekend! We were so happy to have them here. We went swimming on Saturday and both the kids and adults had fun speeding down water slides and diving for rings 🙂. On Sunday the weather cooperated and we went on a hike. 7 bridges, is about a 4 mile round trip hike from the parking lot with 1,000 ft in elevation gain. Addison hiked the whole way! Raising our kids and living life in the shadow of the Rockies. Yesterday was truly a winter day. It was bitterly cold and foggy. We stayed inside most of the day and Molly even created a really tall tower. She wanted me to take her picture with it. A perfect winter day ;). My idea of a perfect winter day is 50 degree temps, a Starbucks flat white coffee, and all the kids (plus our preschool friend, William) enjoying the outdoors and soaking in some vitamin d :).
