Color By Logic: This one's on me
http://colorbylogic.blogspot.com/2012/07/this-ones-on-me.html
This one's on me. I've never been able to identify with labels like ADD or ADHD. I find them to be fallible clinical devices. I understand the sentiments involved with those who profess 'never being able to turn their brain off' or feeling like their brain is 'a TV that won't stop changing channels.' But why on earth would you want to turn your brain off? I feel like I am typing out a plate of lettered spaghetti. I guess that's what I've got. July 24, 2012 at 1:05 AM. July 27, 2012 at 11:44 AM. Also, abo...
Color By Logic: "Get Low" with Georgia cinema
http://colorbylogic.blogspot.com/2010/09/get-low.html
Get Low" with Georgia cinema. Whether I am privy to the filmmaking or not (usually not), I often like to support movies that are filmed locally. I saw Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd. At the cinema (mistake) and I'll probably see the remake of Footloose. Impending mistake), since I have already made a 'set visit.'. Was worth every penny, regardless of my geographic sentiments. Lucas Black puts up a good performance as well. With already a good set of films under his belt, he is on his way to ...
Color By Logic: Oscar 2011: My Analysis and Ballot
http://colorbylogic.blogspot.com/2011/02/oscar-2011-my-analysis-and-ballot.html
Oscar 2011: My Analysis and Ballot. In the few years since I've become a film snob (now more than ever), I seem to feel less of 'the magic' when I'm going to the cinema and more of a scholarly sense of observation. I miss the magic, for sure, but it's nice to have an eye for something and to be able to analyze it further than whether I like it or not. 8220;Black Swan”. 8220;The Fighter”. 8220;The Kids Are All Right”. 8220;The King's Speech”. 8220;127 Hours”. 8220;The Social Network”. 8220;True Grit”.

Oscar 2011: Who WILL Win. Here are my predictions. Motion Picture: "The King's Speech" (alt. "The Social Network"). Director: Tom Hooper - "The King's Speech" (alt. David Fincher - "The Social Network"). Actor: Colin Firth - "The King's Speech" (alt. James Franco - "127 Hours"). Actress: Natalie Portman - "Black Swan" (alt. Annette Bening - "The Kids Are All Right"). Supporting Actor: Christian Bale - "The Fighter" (alt. Geoffrey Rush - "The King's Speech"). Documentary Short: "Strangers No More" (alt...
Color By Logic: Don't Let Me Down
http://colorbylogic.blogspot.com/2012/11/dont-let-me-down.html
Don't Let Me Down. I think "Do The Right Thing" is one of the best film titles of all time. I think the film is great, but the film's title is really great. I'm deep into the last stage of pre-melancholia; disappointment. Or perhaps just funk. Is too drastic a term and I have always prided myself on my extremely well-adjusted mental state, even when I'm feeling blue. Yes, I am aware of how this sounds and how people might take it offensively. It's my blog, right? It is what it is. Excelsior. This post is...

Life in the World of Red Heads: March
http://chrisandhillary.blogspot.com/2011/07/march.html
Monday, July 18, 2011. Sorry for the brief hiatus.we all managed to catch a nasty virus and blogging took a backseat to getting better. I am back now though :-). So, on to March. Ryland was 8 months old. We gave up on baby food all together and started him on table food. MUCH more successful! And shaking his head NO. Big month! I felt like he was learning something new every day. It was amazing and so wonderful to witness. We celebrated my Dad's (aka Papa's) birthday with brunch at Canoe- Yum! But I woul...
Life in the World of Red Heads: 3 Years Ago
http://chrisandhillary.blogspot.com/2011/01/3-years-ago.html
Monday, January 3, 2011. 3 years ago today.the doctor said to go on to the hospital. So away we went. Contractions were stronger and closer. Around 3 minutes apart. We got there, got checked in, and they confirmed that we were, in fact, having a baby. We could stay. Yay! 3 years ago today.we were waiting. And waiting. I wasn't making much progress. The doctor seemed patient though, so I wasn't too worried. My contractions were really strong. He wanted to break my water. 3 years ago today.they wheeled...

It definitely turned out to be a lot of work, but Chris did a great job on it and Bryson has already logged many hours of fun. I know many more are to come and I can't wait to get to watch both of our boys enjoying their playground. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Our Little Rock Star. Life in the World of Red Heads: April 2010
http://chrisandhillary.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 13, 2010. I love Easter. I know the New Year technically begins in January, but for me it really seems to start with Easter. It's the most wonderful reason to celebrate! You add to that the fact that Spring is here and we have a good 6 months of warm weather ahead of us (including Summer, which is my favorite) What could be better? He is such a wonderfully involved Daddy :-). Trying so hard to be gentle with the egg! We'd already had one casualty and he was so scared of breaking another.

Life in the World of Red Heads: February
http://chrisandhillary.blogspot.com/2011/06/february.html
Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Ryland's 7th month was. An interesting one. He started sitting unsupported and started rolling around the room as a mode of transportation. It was pretty adorable :-) He also cut his first tooth at 7.5 months. We tried out butternut squash and sweet potatoes, but he wasn't a fan of either of them. I was still. Having to use my fing. Er as his spoon, which was starting to worry me a bit. He started babbling a lot.I always love that stage. We do lots of reading.
Life in the World of Red Heads: In the mean time...
http://chrisandhillary.blogspot.com/2011/08/in-mean-time.html
Thursday, August 25, 2011. In the mean time. I know I'm supposed to be catching up on posts, but I've had a bit of a glitch. I took some photography classes in the beginning of the year and as a result I started actually using some of the functions on my fancy camera. I started shooting in RAW (which I adore! It was going to be video worthy) and found this scene. No idea what they were going on about, but it was pretty hilarious :-) Enjoy! PS Please ignore the fall at the end- he was fine :-).
