Line I remember being dead chuffed whenI learned how to play the opening bass part to Roy Orbisons' Sweet dream baby, not skiffle,but pop music of the time, and a number 1, so my appitite was wetted. The name comes from buskers jamming on the street, so the word jam became jelly, which it is in the States, and the idea of streetjelly was born about nine months ago. Life in a northern town. Looking back at the recording I think I need to do a little less talking and stop scratching my face, saying errr a little less and get my instrument into the frame. There is something going on here though as a vehicle for getting our music out to more people it's a great format, and in it's own way entertainment. A topnotch WordPress.com site. I’m not able to know why other people signed up to Facebook. For myself it was a way to stay in touch with family, reconnect with old friends and connect with new people. This was done by sharing little bits of our lives with each other. The interesting, the amazingly boring and everything in between. But increasingly it seems a few people want to bombard my timeline with asinine videos, cliched mottoes and quizzes an intellectually challenged 9 year old would find easy.
