Thursday, November 20, 2008. I love Google Docs! My husband introduced me to them. We use them for our personal documents that we need to share. We also use them for our scout troop. Dragana's brain bubbles: November 2008
http://whedragana.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 28, 2008. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. This is the exercise that I was looking forward to from the beginning of Learn and Play. I had heard the term podcasting many times while listening to NPR, and it sounded intriguing, but I did not make that extra step and found out how I can use it. Well, now I know! Wednesday, November 5, 2008. So yeah, I was able to follow most of the conversation and that validated once again the Learn and Play initiative. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
Dragana's brain bubbles: CML Tools
http://whedragana.blogspot.com/2008/10/cml-tools.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. I'm excited about Lively application that I found on CML's blog Tooling Around. I like the idea of chatting with more than one person at the time. I have two friends overseas - one is in Holland and the other is in Serbia - that I'd like to "talk to" at the same time. We've known each other since 7th grade, and I don't know when was the last time we were together as a group. So yeah, thanks Tooling Around! I'll make sure to check out Lively. Blow, Winds! | CychoLibrarian
https://cycholibrarian.wordpress.com/2009/11/05/blow-winds
November 5, 2009 at 11:23 pm. It never ceases to amaze me how much of a difference wind direction makes when you’re riding a bike. Even on days when it’s calm, on a bike you can tell what direction the wind is coming from. If you’re pushing into it, just a slight change in pressure can make it harder to pedal. It seems a shame to me that we’ve lost that connection. And I’m glad that by riding my bike to work every day I can experience a little of what that was like. Entry filed under: weather.

Archive for November, 2009. Steampunk: An Analysis (sort of). But the most remarkable thing about steampunk to me is that it even exists. If you think about other cultural movements in recent times, they all seem to be aimed towards the future– like hippies or new wave– or total nihilism– like punk. Either way they’re about significant change: trying to make society something different than what it is. November 9, 2009 at 9:12 pm. Right Here, Right Now.
