comms buzz: September 2008
http://commsbuzz.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 28, 2008. Group communication has always seem challenging to me. One does not have the luxury to choose one's perfect group-mates or the simplest task or sufficient resources to work with. Having been through my vacation job previously as a cosmetics sales promoter, it provided me with more insights in working within a team and as an individual to hit my sales target. Sunday, September 21, 2008. Despite the fact that there is general social norm of general communication, there is still ...

Talking Point.: October 2008
http://blank-sheets.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Where talking becomes a point. Sunday, October 19, 2008. Help me and Tawn get married. I chanced upon this blog post one day, thinking how can anyone help with marriage? Then I realized that Tawn and Chris are a gay couple who might be affected by the outcome of a campaign known as Proposition 8. Here's how you can help me and Tawn:. Consider contributing to the "No on 8" campaign - They are being outspent by 2-to-1 by donations from outside the state, 30% of which have come from the Mormon Church. I...

Talking Point.: Speechless.
http://blank-sheets.blogspot.com/2008/09/have-you-ever-sat-through-conversation.html
Where talking becomes a point. Friday, September 19, 2008. Have you ever sat through a conversation where no words were said? Incredulous as it sounds, I believe that all of us have experienced it at one point or another. Take for instance, the dagger-like stares your mother gives when you walk in the door late. You probably might have responded with a sheepish smile. In fact, I've taken quite a liking to the one below. Anyhow, did you realise the effect that music had in the film? I like the short film!

http://commsbuzz.blogspot.com/2008/09/humor-ads.html
Sunday, September 14, 2008. Plenty of advertisements (ads) are shown everyday, and our brains are very selective as to how we perceive them and whether we can retain the information accurately. Every single ad is vying for attention and media companies are constantly finding new novelties to bombard people with stimuli. Examples of ads that are humorous and controversial:. HAHAHAHAHHA those were really quite funny! The condom ad really took me by surprise! September 14, 2008 at 4:02 PM. I guess humorous ...

comms buzz: La Proposition d'Affaires
http://commsbuzz.blogspot.com/2008/09/la-proposition-daffaires.html
Sunday, September 14, 2008. This video was nicely done by my ex-poly coursemates and my ex-lecturer who is also starred as the leading actor in this video. Brillant, isn't it? This video is shown to re-iterate my points in previous post regarding the use of Singlish. This video shows how Singlish is used in our everyday lives and it also shows a glimpse of our Singapore culture to a certain extent. September 25, 2008 at 3:57 AM. Talking Point.: September 2008
http://blank-sheets.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Where talking becomes a point. Sunday, September 28, 2008. A formula to moot. Well I don't know about your weekend, but mine was definitely filled with thrills. For the smart people out there who guessed from the title, yes I'm referring to the Singapore Grand Prix. The spotlight however, will be not placed on Alonso (the winner), but the Ferrari team instead. I guess those who read the news or watched the race would know what I'm about to say next. Yep, it's about Massa and his fuel hose. With the artic...
