Live today because tomorrow never comes. November 8, 2010. Decided to get up and go this morning on my first day of freedom after the Fair. Took on Camelback Mountain’s Cholla Trail for the first time. From Loop 101 to Chaparral Road west to Invergordon Road and north. Parking is on the west side of the road. Then walk north to Cholla and go west to the trailhead. Good thing those people can afford to pay someone to clean for them! Good thing a stay at the Phoenician is not on my bucket list. Live today because tomorrow never comes. Ash Creek Trail – Mount Graham near Safford – August 14. We escaped the HOT August valley and headed to Mt. Graham near Safford for a cool day of hiking. It was a VERY long drive from phoenix to Safford. I think the best bet for next time would be to make a weekend of it and camp. But the hike alone was well worth the long drive.
