knitalatte: a word, my word
http://karenlcase.blogspot.com/2014/01/a-word-my-word.html
Friday, January 3, 2014. A word, my word. The word I've chosen for 2014 is acceptance. It’s a big one…. I need to face up to the fact that I’ll be turning 60 this year, as I’m approaching a kicking and a screaming. I know my feelings about it are much more dramatic than need be, I learned that when I turned the big 5-0 ten years ago. How does one prepare for such milestones? I guess it is such a personal journey for each of us. I’ve joined in with Kim Klassens. 8217; 14 in 2014 this year – What fun!

Under the Sycamore Tree. Saturday, September 27, 2014. Is our prayer word for the month of September which is just about to slip into October. In his many beautiful words Thomas Merton once wrote,. 8220;Some people never see a tree. Until they are ready to saw it down.”. Where do poems live? How well do you see? Bring forth your receiving eyes. Come forward with a seeing heart. Listen carefully, and you will hear a quiet voice murmuring:. May I have your attention please? Where do poems live? They are wa...

http://macrina-underthesycamoretree.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Under the Sycamore Tree. Tuesday, October 22, 2013. O Source of all Life, a prayer. O Source of all Life,. A s once you looked with compassion. On the weary crowds. Who seemed lost and without a shepherd,. Look again upon your people. So desperately in need of renewal. Send your spirit to blow over our dead bones. Resurrect in us a surprising new life. Blow away negative thoughts,. Replace them with hopeful dreams. Blow away critical thoughts;. Replace them with affirming words. Blow away busyness;.

http://scramblesofamaverick.blogspot.com/2015/02/self-realizations.html
Random thoughts, Musings and a multitude of thrills life has to offer! Wednesday, February 04, 2015. A caveat before we begin - the following is an unedited version of something I scribbled to be posted in my blog and was in the draft till now. It was written sometime Mid November 2014. Stumbled on it just now and posting it in the same rough and ready version. Yet another mental block busted :-). What more could I possibly squeeze in? Little things in life make your faith grow deeper. :-). By the way, t...

Scrambles: January 2015
http://scramblesofamaverick.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Random thoughts, Musings and a multitude of thrills life has to offer! Wednesday, January 28, 2015. I am a bundle of nerves today – restless, wretched, perturbed, distraught and what not. Angry with myself. And that feeling you get when every atom in your body and soul wants to do something and you end up saying just the opposite of it, given the constraints you are in. I wish I could pour my heart out, since it is a complex story that spans over a decade, I will let that pass. Wind back to Circa 1990.

A Riffed Teacher's Renaissance: "April is the cruelest month." -T.S. Eliot
http://renaissanceteacher.blogspot.com/2011/04/april-is-cruelest-month-ts-eliot.html
Sunday, April 10, 2011. April is the cruelest month." -T.S. Eliot. Adam and I awoke to a foreign feeling.a feeling so strange that we couldn’t quite place its origin. Had we felt it before? Yes, but where? Certainly not in the cheerless gloom that shrouds our beautiful city this time of year. And then it came to us: Spring! Like beauty, like love, it will wane. 8220;O, how this spring of love resembleth. The uncertain glory of an April day,. Which now shows all the beauty of the sun,. Toyin, me too!
