Sunday, August 15, 2010. 50lbs and feeling good! This first week of the diet has been a little rough but I feel like I've gotten in the groove now and the next 5 weeks will be long, no doubt but I have lots to do so I'm just going to focus on the "stuff" I have to do and remember that food just doesn't matter that much! I also hit a major milestone in my diet this week as I dropped below the 200lb mark. It was a big day full of joy! Thanks again to all of you that support and encourage me constantly!

I know it's not much difference but it feels different it should be fun. It kind of reminds me of the bumbo picture I take of Cohen he'll get bigger and bigger while mommy gets smaller and smaller! 20 lbs down and I'm pretty excited! I still am having a hard time seeing the change but the scale doesn't lie so I'm just going to love what it says! Can't wait for 40! 40lbs at the end of Session 1! Can't wait for session 2. I just realized I'm wearing the same dress I was wearing in the 40lb picture, oh well!

Thursday, May 27, 2010. Today I hit to me the first major success in this diet.20lbs gone! The diet hasn't really gotten any easier but I have found that I'm just not even hungry for food. It's a struggle most days to eat my 500 calories. I'm about 21 day in (about half way) and the next few weeks will prove to be some of the most challenging as we host and attend parties including Dealey's 3rd birthday part with a theme of blue M&Ms! Lots of sorting to do but no snacking! On to the next 20!

Thursday, June 3, 2010. The last week has been a weird series of ups and downs that have really made me want something to eat! However it makes me happy that what I'd love is just a good salad! I have found my love for cooking again and am collecting recipes and ideas like crazy. Saturday, July 17, 2010. So I never posted about hitting my 40lbs mark the day before the end of the first session! It was a major success for me and a great ending to the first part of a long journey. I've been in maintenance for about 4 weeks now and it's been interesting. I have continued to lose a little weight even on my trip to Cali with totally shocked me! July 17, 2010 at 11:18 PM. I love you in a dress! You almost look like a totally different Rachel when I can see your legs!

Friday, June 11, 2010. My baby boy is 5 months old! He's getting so big and is quite the character. Although he is much more laid back than Dealey has ever been he shines at all the right moments! He loves being in his walker a few times through out the day and is getting more and more mobile in it. He rolls over on his stomach well and seems to like the view from that angle and we've started oatmeal! Check out this sweet picture, who could resist this face! And of course the 5 month bumbo!

I don't know his stats we go to the dr. on Thursday but it's obvious from last month to this month he's putting on some lbs! We just started solid foods which seemed almost necessary as he was wanting to add and add to his bottle feedings. He's awesome though still such a good natured little guy and just happy to be! In D's 3 month pictures he was about to jump out of the chair and Co is just hanging out I hope this is a sign he's going to be one laid back little kid.I like it! It's funny I feel like I can't talk about Co unless I talk about D too, don't want to forget the first born or leave him out! So in true Dealey fashion, he's at it again! This time he came out and asked me to take a picture.oh my Jesus, what a kid he is.
