This recipe, adapted from Hershey's Made Simple. Makes for near cookie perfection. You could certainly use milk or white chocolate chips instead of the usual semisweet, or try peanut butter or toffee bits for a little variety. 1 cup butter, room temperature. 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
