Comic Books, Movies, and Superheroes: Batman: Brave and the Bold - Plastic Man toy!
http://comicbookheroes.blogspot.com/2010/01/batman-brave-and-bold-plastic-man-toy.html
Batman: Brave and the Bold - Plastic Man toy! I think this is the next thing I'll pick up when I have a little money to spend. A stretchy Plastic Man toy from Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Check out my mad filmmaking skills (stills shot with an iPhone; stop motion created with iMovie 08). Also found a few other cool toys from the show (these were all at Target). Comic Books, Movies, and Superheroes: The Green Hornet (2011)
http://comicbookheroes.blogspot.com/2011/03/green-hornet-2011.html
The Green Hornet (2011). Superhero film not based on a comic. The year in comic book movies for 2011 started with a bang. I wasn't sure what I was going to think about it, but when I saw the trailer, I thought it might actually be good - whether or not I saw Seth Rogen in the role. And ultimately, it was a fun action flick. Easy escapism. Green Hornet has come a long way since the radio shows from the 30's. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Comic Books, Movies, and Superheroes: Hiatus
http://comicbookheroes.blogspot.com/2011/03/hiatus.html
Wow - it has been a long time. Nearly a year! And the last review I have on here is from 2009? I realized the other day that I never get on a computer any more (or rarely) unless I'm at work. I do everything on iPhone - surfing, email, Twitter, Facebook. And Blogger still doesn't have an iPhone app? I downloaded Blogpress a long time ago and used that for a while, but I do (did) so much on this blog that I couldn't do with an app that I rarely updated this one. Maybe I'll be a bit more consistent :).
Comic Books, Movies, and Superheroes: Swamp Thing (1982) mini review
http://comicbookheroes.blogspot.com/2008/01/swamp-thing-1982-mini-review.html
Based on a comic. With the series being released on DVD this past week, I thought I might post reviews of the original movies. I always forget how much I enjoy Swamp Thing. It's goofy, but the film embraces that goofiness and becomes a modern "B" monster movie. Starring B-movie queen Adrienne Barbeau (. This film is based on the DC comic by the same name. (Barbeau also voiced Catwoman in the original. Dr Alec Holland (Ray Wise, currently the Devil in CW's. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Below is a l...
Comic Books, Movies, and Superheroes: The Dark Knight (2008) mini review
http://comicbookheroes.blogspot.com/2009/05/dark-knight-2008-mini-review.html
The Dark Knight (2008) mini review. Based on a comic book. For Christmas, my brother got me the very cool Batman Mask DVD Limited Edition. So, I finally watched it on DVD. And it's just as good (or better) now as it was at the theater. Where to start with this one? Everyone knows the plot - it's been going on for nearly 70 years. Batman versus the Joker. But this. Time the Joker's played by Heath Ledger. And that makes all the difference. I was a little disappointed in the original Batman Begins. The bea...
