Comic Book Legacy: August 2009

http://comicbooklegacy.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 29, 2009. Weekly Comic Book Reviews for 8/26/09. Batman and Robin #3. Batman Reborn Part 3: Mommy Made of Nails. After a short delay we finally get the final chapter to Morrison and Quietly's first story arc of Batman and Robin. Batman and Robin #3 was a fun read. These are the type of stories that I expect from Morrison. Stone to becoming Batman. This leads to an interesting dynamic as Morrison shows that. 9/10 – As with the previous issues Quietly's artwork here is phenomenal&#46...

Comic Book Legacy: September 2009

http://comicbooklegacy.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Weekly Comic Book Review for 9/30/09. Christian Alamy, Tom Nguyen and Doug Mahnke. Randy Mayor and Gabe Eltaeb. Like the series will finally be moving forward for the first time instead of backwards. And as this issue also shows Hal is an interesting character when he is interacting with characters like Sinestro, Carol, and Indigo-1 who each have their own distinct personalities and. Earth Green Lanterns as I haven't found a reason to care what happens to the character.

Comic Book Legacy: Weekly Comic Book Reviews for 12/23/09

http://comicbooklegacy.blogspot.com/2009/12/weekly-comic-book-reviews-for-122309.html

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Weekly Comic Book Reviews for 12/23/09. Fred Van Lente did a great job in creating a very fun, classic feeling two-part Sandman story. Sandman, like other classic villains from Spider-Man Rogue Gallery, has been underutilized over the past few years. It is a shame to since Spider-Man has one of the better Rogues Gallery in. Him a story that as a reader I will remember and still enjoy when I read it again in the future. Captain America: Who Will Wield the Shield? Batman titles ...

Ah, don't you just love these nice father and son moments. Spider-Man had to ruin such a tender moment. Spider-Man really knows how to get under the new mayor's skin by making headlines of The DB and Frontline. Our first look at the new Vulture. Still don't know what to think of this new version since it only appeared in one page. These...

Comic Book Labs

Ramblings of a mad nerd. July 31, 2013. This is a short piece I did for a writing challenge. It was suppose to embody the feeling of powerlessness in Lovecraft writing, but I think I may have lost a bit of it to the bigger story in my head. Regardless, it pulls out a bit of a Lovecraft-post-apocalyptic story I’ve had floating around. Update: I’m adjusting the date on this one because it’s technically the last challenge I did. Snap out of it! C'mon Doc, god damnit, say the words! Read outta yer damn book!

Wednesday, August 19, 2009. I was looking at the cover of this week's Amazing Spider-Man #603, by Stephane Roux, and something struck me as odd. Here, take a look; can you figure it out? Still not sure why this image looks odd? How about a hint. Face it Tiger- What, Me Worry? 4% of th...
