A locupletative personal blog. Thursday, February 27, 2014. About (not) going back home. I have been travelling a lot these past two years, it almost feels like I'm making up the time when I'm not travelling. My decision to change the way I work, from a full-timer to a freelancer, really helps in terms of being super flexible and just not getting depressed with different demands from your employer. So, wish me luck. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee.
freedomphoria: September 2014
http://freedomphoria.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
A locupletative personal blog. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. The state of this country. I woke up when my phone made a noise. It stopped me from dreaming (hence, I can't even remember the dream). I saw a notification: new headlines from one of the English-language newspaper in the country. News about how the House is planning to revise the Law for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). And I thought, WTF? Not a very pleasant way to wake up. Can someone with more knowledge in this matter point to the...
freedomphoria: March 2015
http://freedomphoria.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
A locupletative personal blog. Friday, March 13, 2015. I read the news last night just before I went to bed. I immediately felt a part of what constructed my joy had gone away. I actually felt sad, and I am still sad by the news. It's strange to feel some kind of connection with someone whom I've never met and whom didn't even know that I exist in this world, connected through enjoying his works over the years. http://freedomphoria.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
A locupletative personal blog. Saturday, November 29, 2014. A series of changes. It's closing to the end on 2014. It's been an interesting year and it feels like it's nearing the end so fast. Maybe because I have spent most of the year waiting: waiting for my partner to visit, waiting for my turn to visit, waiting for my visa approval, waiting for my savings to increase a bit more so I could afford plane tickets, waiting for cheap plane tickets, and so on. Monday, November 17, 2014. In a-spoilt-little-sh...

A locupletative personal blog. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Thank you, 2013. Looking back, 2013 has been quite exciting. I travelled a lot and did a lot, for someone who works and sleeps in the same room. I went to six different countries and met a whole lot of new people. I redefined freedom and myself. I also found things that I didn't think I'd find in life any time soon. I found a home and love that goes with it. Wednesday, December 25, 2013. A Christmas Letter for You. I made a "status update" on Fac...

A locupletative personal blog. Sunday, June 8, 2014. I have been wanting to write this post but kept on postponing it until today. I wanted to write about PMDD or Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (the word premenstrual should give you an idea) or that-time-when-you-get-so-depressed-and-anxious-you-just-want-to-kill-yourself-first-thing-in-the-morning. Never heard of it before? What kind of moral conclusion I can draw from this post? Ps you can read more about PMDD from this blog. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A locupletative personal blog. Thursday, June 20, 2013. Angry rambling (what's new, really? Yesterday when I was having lunch at home with my parents, we talked about people who rented my parents' property. They also manage my grandmum's property. And my dad mentioned that one guy actually said they didn't need a written agreement on when he had to pay the rest of his rent money because, and I quote, "I'm a Muslim. You can trust me.". Alright, I'm rambling. I wish I knew how I could make a difference.

A locupletative personal blog. Friday, April 26, 2013. Hear evil, see evil, speak evil. When one celebrity ustaz. Died in an accident, the media coverages made it seem like it's a national tragedy. When dozens of Papuans killed in Papua by the military, no one reacted. If there's any, people often said they felt bad about it, but then what could they do? I read somewhere in Aceh, women can't fart in public anymore. I hope this is a hoax. The banana ban is bad enough. And now farting in public? In a count...
freedomphoria: May 2014
http://freedomphoria.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
A locupletative personal blog. Monday, May 26, 2014. When did sleeping get so difficult? On a morning like this morning, I wonder do I ever wake up and feel refreshed? Feeling like I actually have enough sleep? I haven't felt that for a while. I read or heard somewhere that you don't sleep well when you are slightly depressed. It makes sense, of course, when your mind is too preoccupied by either good or bad thoughts, your sleep is going to be weird. Anyone have a good suggestion for a good night sleep?

Sunday June 23rd, 2013. My new comic Estrays. November 25th, 2016. I recently started a new comic called Estrays. It’s a fantasy comic featuring cats after surviving a battle with rats. A Critique of Current Comics. Saturday, February 9, 2013. All New X-Men 07. All New X-Men. I'm not sure if there has ever been a less accurate title for a comic. The premise here is that after the events of AvX, Hank learned that he was dying(from another mutation or something) and out of desperation tried to fix the shitstorm Phoenix Cyclops left in his wake. So he went back to the 60s? I was really scared before All New X-Men came out. Time travel bullshit? Fucking Jean Grey again? We may collect non-p...
