비전문 미국 만화 웹진 코믹인사이드. 마블 시네마틱 유니버스에 독이 될 대형 스토리. 5월 4, 2015. 10대였던 내가 마블이 영화 계획을 처음 보았을 때 영화를 만화처럼 만들 것이란 기대에 빠져있었다. 그리고 그 기대는 첫 영화 아이언맨을 보고 확실해졌었다. 시간이 흐르고 큰 프로젝트가 벌써 두번째로 끝나가는 시점이 되자 영화를 만화처럼 만들고 있는 마블의 모습에 어느 순간 기대보다는 우려가 들기 시작했다. 영화가 나쁘다는 얘기가 아니다. 영화는 정말 완벽하다. 산만하긴 했지만 너무나도 완벽해서 훗날이 걱정된다. 그렇다면 이런 시스템은 좋은걸까? 하며 깨달음과 함께 오는 즐거움을 자극하는 장사방법은 만화에서 영화로 넘어온 좋은 점이라 볼 수 있는 것이다. 오늘도 어디로 튀는지 모르는 일상. 비전문 미국 만화 웹진 코믹인사이드. 이제서야 인정받은 그들의 기여. 9월 29, 2015. 사람들에게 다가오기 시작한 다크호스. 8월 8, 2015. 다크 호스가 7월 초 유니버셜 케이블 프로덕션 (이하 UCP)와 퍼스트 룩 계약을 맺었다. 2014년 코믹콘에서부터 시작되어 거의 1년동안 공을 들여 진행한 이 계약은 다크 호스의 작품들을 UCP에서 먼저 영상화 할 수 있는지 여부를 결정할 수 있다는 이야기다. 그래서 UCP는 우선 계약을 맺자마자 엄브렐라 아카데미, 콘크리트, 해로우 카운티, 백업 총 네개 작품의 프로젝트를 진행하기로 발표했다. 그리고 그 뒤 나올 신작들에 대해서도 이 계약은 유지가 된다. 7월 15, 2015. 마블은 정말 엑스맨을 쫓아낼까. 6월 25, 2015. 융합을 끝낸 DC는 어떻게 해야할까. 6월 2, 2015. 아치코믹스의 의도치 않은 깽판. 5월 19, 2015. 마블 시네마틱 유니버스에 독이 될 대형 스토리. 5월 4, 2015. 10대였던 내가 마블이 영화 계획...

비전문 미국 만화 웹진 코믹인사이드. 히어로들은 미래의 신이 될 수 있을까? 11월 16, 2014. 아직 보지는 못했지만 테리 길리엄의 영화 ‘제로법칙의 비밀’에서는 구세주 배트맨의 교회가 나온다고 한다. 물론 지나간듯 나왔을테지만 테리 길리엄은 이로 인해 인터뷰도 하게 되었다. 왜 그렇게 했냐는 질문에 대한 답은 간단했다. “미래엔 슈퍼히어로도 신이 될 수 있다. 슈퍼히어로들은 미래의 그리스 로마신화와 같다.” 그 근거로 제시한 건 히어로들에겐 그들만의 배경 이야기, 그들이 지키는 신념이 있기 때문이라는 그의 말은 어느정도 수긍할 수 있었다. 몇년 전까지 가끔은 이런 생각이 들곤 했었다. 지금껏 우리가 알고 있는 종교라는 곳들의 성서가 사실은 누군가의 장편 소설이 아니었을까? 무슨 자격으로 신이 되겠다고? 이야기가 늘어갈수록 믿음은 점점 강해진다. 뭐 우리가 눈뜨고 살아있는 동안 그런 광경을 볼 기회는 없겠지만 충분히 설득력있지 않나? 오늘도 어디로 튀는지 모르는 일상.

비전문 미국 만화 웹진 코믹인사이드. 세상은 어떻게 변해갈까 52 Vol. 1 (DC Comics, 2006). 11월 26, 2014. 세상이 바뀌었다. 알고 있던 것보다 세상은 더 넓었고 그 깨달음의 과정에서 많은 이들이 사망했다. 사람들은 어떤 모습을 보일까? 52는 인피닛 크라이시스 이후의 모습을 보여준다. 세상이 혼란에 빠진 사이 이걸 이용해 자신의 목적을 이루려는 이들이 존재하고 자신의 사상을 더 키우려는 이들도 있다. 과연 세상은 어떻게 변해갈까? 그래도 첫번째 볼륨에서만 볼 수 있는 모습을 찾아보자면 랄프 딥니의 스토리 중에서 얽히게 되는 컬트 오브 코너에 대해서 이야기 할 수 있다. 슈퍼보이 커트 코너가 사망하고 난 이후 그의 귀환을 바라는 이들이 모인 사이비 종교 집단이라고 볼 수 있다. 여기서 볼 수 있는건 사이비 종교에 관한 이야기랄까? 패닉, 그리고 이를 이용하는 인간들. 슈퍼보이의 부활을 바라는 컬트 오브 코너에 잠입한 히어로들. 빼놓고 볼 수 없는 후기.

E trist ca in 2008, Romania nu mai scoate numai avocati pe banda rulanta, dar si jurnalisti, functionari publici sau chiar economisti…. M-am si angajat. Acolo unde am mai lucrat la un moment dat.
