I almost wrote “faps”, but let’s keep this blog kiddie-friendly…. Newsarama has posted a preview of the new Darkwing Duck comic book by Boom! And it looks like it has all the quirky humour that made me love the original show. The characterisation is spot-on, and the art is wonderful. Because comics are fun. April 15, 2010. I had planned a lot of posts yesterday and then suddenly the job intervened. I hate priorities. Anyway. Bad Dog isn’t dead. Joe Kelly is one of the finest writers of the moment, and Bad Dog was fun without being intelligent. Very glad about this. Spider-Man, Blade, Elektra and She-Hulk join the X-Men. And according to Rich Jonston, Psylocke isn’t a mutant either. So far, in the Heroic Age, most of the X-Men aren’t mutants. That’s new. The preview of Brightest Day #0.

Because comics are fun. April 29, 2010. I’m about to read Thor #609 and I have this strange anticipation…I really want Clor clobbered. This is a character which never should have outlived Civil War. It’s an abomination, not because it’s engineered, or a clone, simply because it’s the most unlikable character in the Marvel universe right now. He’s an arrogant pompous ass who fully deserves to get his ass kicked. Update in ten minutes I guess. The ThorClor fight is in #610! I have to wait another month!
