The Briick/Brück Family
Includes Bauer, Haub, Hauser, Franck, Englehard and Maas Surnames. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. They Came from Germany. The Brück family is from Butzbach, Hesse, Germany. They went to England for a time and then came to America. They traveled to Panama, crossed Panama by mule and then took a ship to San Francisco and eventually ended up in Marysville, California. Apparently they did come from somewhere in Northern Ireland between 1766 and 1770. They settled first in Westmoreland and Lawrence Counties in Pennsylvania, but eventually ended up in Mercer County. BYU - in conjunction with the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah - has begun the process of digitizing all of the family histories that have ever been donated to the Family History Library.
