It’s clean! | The Zero Journey
https://zerojourney.wordpress.com/2015/11/08/its-clean
Zero-waste, plastic-free, tree-hugging ways to a greener, healthier life. November 8, 2015. April 29, 2016. The space beneath my sink used to look like probably the majority of households in North America: dishwasher tabs, a cleaner for stoves, a cleaner for the floor, a cleaner to polish, a cleaner for glass, disinfectant wipes, sprays, bottles, tabs, blah blah blah… Basically, I had the whole cleaner aisle chillin’ out beneath my sink. Cleaning, this has simplified the process immensely. I have very se...

Zero-waste, plastic-free, tree-hugging ways to a greener, healthier life. October 31, 2015. November 1, 2015. October has been a busy time: coming back and organizing ourselves after our overseas wedding, starting a new job, jumping into classes that have had 2-3 teachers before me, preparing for report cards, and keeping up with life in general. Much has happened in my Zero Waste adventures, and I’m still doing my best to keep up with everyone else’s posts too! This month marks four major changes:.

Part of an eyelash brush. Gregg Segal article: http:/ www.treehugger.com/culture/photos-families-in-7-days-of-garbage-gregg-segal.html. There is no away. Top 3 Challenges →. The tea ba...

Zero-waste, plastic-free, tree-hugging ways to a greener, healthier life. November 3, 2015. November 3, 2015. From October 19-25 it was Waste Reduction Week in Canada. Since coming back from our trip to Germany I had been doing really well with keeping up with my zero-wasting habits. Apparently I started the month on a high and then got progressively worse as time went on. After complaining about my September Trash. Amount and now seeing this, I don’t feel so bad about September’s! Tab from salt box.

Zero-waste, plastic-free, tree-hugging ways to a greener, healthier life. November 17, 2016. Sweet child, as yours and the life of the world unfold. Take great care for the world is much darker than you were told. Not all fairytales rainbows and happy ever afters. Or unicorns and books that give you all the answers. There are people in this world much unlike you and me. Who move for power, breathe for greed unlike anything you can believe to see. But that is them and you are you. Gasp at the rainbow.

Zero-waste, plastic-free, tree-hugging ways to a greener, healthier life. Back to the Basics. October 8, 2015. April 29, 2016. How happy I was two days ago to touch back down on North American soil after spending two weeks in my hometown in Germany; though the trip was a whirlwind of wedding responsibilities and it felt like we were there for only a couple of days, it is always pleasant and comfortable to return home and return to the basics. Bea Johnson or Lauren Singer? A friend or family member? Certa...

September Trash | The Zero Journey

Zero-waste, plastic-free, tree-hugging ways to a greener, healthier life. September 14, 2015. September 14, 2015. When I started seeing ‘Zero-Waste Week’ posts popping up on my reader, I thought…well, I must have missed the memo, let’s get this show on the road! I read through those posts and realized it was based in the U.K. Though this did not prevent me for joining in, I started Googling (that’s a verb now) for ‘Zero-Waste Week Canada’. To my dismay, I found very little! MiracleGro Singles from my non...
