A couple of weeks ago when I climbed, and I use that term recklessly because of how darn hard it was Mount Maunganui, when we were at the top looking out over the stunning landscape there were lots of other people around us too. This young lady was sitting on one side of the mountain on these stairs relaxing. I couldn't help wondering what she was thinking about? For more Wednesdays around the world click here. Barcelona, a photo a day. What stuff I use. Drama on the high sea. This is the Sorrento, italian registered ferry, entering the Port Vell in BCN. He was doing the route Barcelona-Menorca. I used to see him every day at around 8 PM, from my office at the World Trade Center. The Sorrento caught fire last night, between Palma de Mallorca and Valencia (other route, other markings), and sank this morning. All 156 passengers and crew were fortunately evacuated on time, nobody was hurt. It was filed under boats.
