When they call him for an afternoon snack, he has those words : From now on, I'll do sports only on a computer.". One day, doing some kind of sport, Phiip the only Phiip is asking himself how dangerous that is. His "muscles" ache. He is thirsty. The plastic bottle where water used to mix with Pastis is now empty. Other would have let themselves die on the spot, but not Phiip. He lies down on the mud, looks up at the sky, closes his eyes and imagines the commando B stories.

The chief (sir yes sir), a righteous, severe but fair man. A good commando, but he could work on his numerous flaws, like driving, first aid, etc. Nice, but messy, not that attentive, his head in the clouds. Could die from time to time. The simple man of the simple truth. Says what he sees, sees what he says, explains what he sees. Has the tendency to comment his life as it's going on. Would be a perfect homeless guy, a perfect loser, but as a commando. What he's doing here is a mystery.

The Commando Museum Home Page. The present owners moved the exhibition and utilized more modern display methods which enabled all and some stored items to be displayed in the front of the hotel. The Commando Bar was extended around the same time and Col. I.P. Huntley, the Commanding Officer of the Fleet Protection Group, Royal Marines, re-opened the exhibition and bar on behalf of H.R.H. Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Back to the hotel. The Victoria Cross Society.
