Griffin Guys & Girl: October 2013
http://griffinguysgirl.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 10, 2013. A Little About Logan. We are in a really, really good season right now with Logan. He has amazed us with how well he's adjusted to elementary school and it can only be directly attributed to the Lord's hand in his life. So many prayers have been showered over that boy in the past few years due to his anxiety and self-confidence issues, and BOY has God answered! First Week of School. Miss Ables (an A&M grad): So, Logan, I hear you like to watch Aggie football. I've heard it sai...

Griffin Guys & Girl: February 2013
http://griffinguysgirl.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 20, 2013. We say 'goodbye' to our home tomorrow morning. It seems incredibly final, to close the chapter on a house that has been our home for just shy of 10 years. We built the home - watched as the foundation was poured, scratched our initials and Joshua 24:15 in the damp cement on the floor of what was to be the breakfast room, watched as the walls were formed and bricks were laid, watched as the promise of dreams fulfilled came to be. Griffin Guys & Girl: August 2013
http://griffinguysgirl.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 29, 2013. School started for us this past Monday, August 26th. Cue the angels singing}. We had a busy, yet laid-back summer - and it was time for these boys to be back in a routine, to meet new friends and reunite with old friends, to learn to respect and follow another voice of authority, to make new adventures happen. And it was good. The face of a Kindergartener who says "I've got this, Mom. You can leave now.". The 2nd-grader fake smile. :) He was ready for me to leave, too. Logan st...

Griffin Guys & Girl: September 2012
http://griffinguysgirl.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 25, 2012. A blog friend shared this song on her blog this morning, and it is so beautiful. It speaks to me on many levels this morning, but what hit me is this:. Change is a part of life. A big part. Most changes are for good, some are not, but in every change I find a part of me wants to go back - back to what was familiar, what was predictable - no matter if I'm excited about the change ahead or not. It's like my soul is still searching for a constant amidst the changing. The big boy...

Sunday, April 26, 2009. Clay is finally home! Here are a few pictures of Clay hard at work out there in the deep blue sea. Here he is on the deck of the ship working with the riggers. (actually doing some manual labor). Here he is on the bridge overseeing many operations. This is where he said he spent most of his time. On the deck of the ship with the rig (Thunderhawk) behind him. This is the ship he was on for the month and a half he was out there. And this is Thunderhawk! Sunday, April 19, 2009. Kicki...

Griffin Guys & Girl: March 2014
http://griffinguysgirl.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 3, 2014. An Evening at the Beach. It was about an hour before sunset, so we knew our time was limited. That was fine. We didn't have a change of clothes for anyone, much less any towels, so we told the boys we were just going to walk on the beach and maybe put our feet in the (cold! Pacific Ocean. They were NOT EXCITED. I'm talking whining, complaining, "why can't we just go to the hotel and swim? Kids Water = A Good Time. And an interesting ride back to the hotel. ;). I was nervous about t...

The Thompson Crew: Summer Days
http://clayandrachelle.blogspot.com/2010/07/summer-days.html
Friday, July 9, 2010. We are right smack dab in the middle of summer here. So far we have had a pretty good time. There isn't a whole lot you can do with a 3 month old baby, but we figure it out. We hope to make more summer time memories in the next few weeks. This was at a Stroller Strides event. For Memorial Day we went camping in Rockport with our good friends The Edwards. Here are Wade, Major, and Juliana taking a boat ride. Wade and Avery dancing at Memaw and Pepaw's house. July 9, 2010 at 12:32 PM.

Monday, July 27, 2009. Have you ever caught your kiddo doing something bad, and told them "NO! But tried not to laugh? Well I got a picture of this one. hehe. I got it off of the tile with Mr Clean Magic Eraser, but it wouldn't come off of the grout. :(. Here is one of my little man at Target. It is funny because I thought he was sleepy. I thought he was so cute, I busted out my camera and took a picture of him. WRONG! Look at those teeth! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Houston, TX, United States.
