Saturday, July 23, 2011. Amy Winehouse (September 14, 1983 – July 23, 2011). Wow, is what I thought when I read the headline ' Amy Winehouse. So if there is a lesson in this I think it might be that we should not allow the media to dehumanize us simply for a jokes sake. Amy was a deeply troubled person. That's how she should have been viewed. Not as a joke. Had she been then maybe the outside pressure would have helped her to get the help she needed. July 23, 2011 at 2:11 PM. Tuck and Patti can do now wrong in my book, Patti can sing the phone book and it will sound good. I saw them in DC recently and they were dynamite, and man, can Tuck play that guitar. My daughter had her first chorus performance, it was horrible. Not sure what was off, the children, the mics or the speakers. I watched a motorcycle run into the back of an SUV.
