symbiontnet: Java The Next App Engine Language?
http://blog.symbiont.net/2008/05/java-next-app-engine-language.html
Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Java The Next App Engine Language? While a somewhat exotic choice on the surface, it was actually perfectly natural and understandable for Google to go with Python out of the gate. It has long been known that Google uses Python behind the scenes for a great many things, from managing the bazillions of servers and other in-house systems to the implementation of Google Code. Works there. on App Engine. I'm sure having the language's creator on staff helped when architecting this thing.

So I wound up picking up a pair of the dual-driver Puro Sound Labs IEM500. S for a...

Desligue um pouco o receptor da Net! Deixe a Direct TV descansar! Venha pra TV aberta. E pra dar saudades:. Eu não vou trabalhar! O outro é pa...

Mobile Opportunity: Mobile applications, RIP
http://mobileopportunity.blogspot.com/2008/02/mobile-applications-rip.html
Mobile applications, RIP. The decline of the mobile software industry. Mobile computing is different from PC computing. For the last decade, that has been the fundamental rule of the mobile data industry. It was the central insight of Palm Computing's "Zen of Palm" philosophy. Psion came up with similar ideas, and you can hear echoes of them from every other successful mobile computing firm: Mobile computers are used differently from PCs, and therefore must be designed differently. The problem wasn't jus...

Now I have a baby who can smear frosting on his own sweet cheeks.
